Hybrid Adaptive Fault-Tolerant Control for Compound Faults of Hypersonic Vehicle

This study investigates the hybrid fault-tolerant control (FTC) for hypersonic flight vehicles (HFVs) under rudder structure fault (RSF) and angle deviation (RADF). The nonlinear equations of model are linearised by fuzzy logic, external disturbance is approximated radial basis functions, which transforms classical HFV into a linear system. In case only RSF, state feedback system can passively shield using compensation function design threshold to create conditions RADF detection. During RSF compound faults, with an adaptive observer implements isolation/estimation shields structural fault. By estimation results, active-passive completes passive FTC active learning rates that mimic animal predatory behaviour increase sensitivity incipient improve compensation. Lyapunov method proves stability semi-physical simulation shows efficiency.
